Agogo is a unique community poised to become an oasis of opportunity for future leaders due in large part to more than 30 years of leadership by Nana Akouko Sarpong, the Agogohene (Paramount King) of the Agogo Traditional Area. Nana Sarpong has skillfully used his training as a lawyer and his years of service to Ghana as a representative of the Asantehene (King of the Asante people) and a former Member of Parliament, Minister of State, and Presidential Advisor, to dialogue and negotiate with private, municipal and corporate partners.

The Ausar Auset Society International, a non-profit organization, has partnered with Nana Sarpong since 1982 to help build Ghana with contributions valued in excess of $250,000. Much support is needed to continue these efforts.
